Chronicles of False Creek started performing in BC in 2015 after Scott Driscoll, lead singer, moved to Vancouver from Ontario. The band features seasoned musicians with a lifetime of performance experience.
“Our focus is on making sure you have a great time singing along and dancing to your favourite songs.”
The band is kept busy and in demand because we offer an eclectic mix of music from multiple kinds of music. Our genres include; Country Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Modern Folk, Celtic & Irish favourites and Rock n’ Roll. We can perform songs from the 50’s right up to today’s hit music. Our fans, who hire us for private events, often arrange with us to have a whole night of just one type of music. To that we say, “Our pleasure.”
We are excited to be a part of the community and enjoy every chance we get to make someone happy while enjoying live music.
Lead Singer, Rhythm Guitar Player, and Published Singer/ Songwriter
I have been singing and performing since the age of 9. From high school to the end of my time in college I performed live music for festivals, dances, fundraisers, wedding and special events. Live performance paid for my first car, my college fees, and I owned and operated a small company supplying all the equipment and services for live music shows. I left music entirely to raise a family and focus on a sales career. In 2010 I returned to music full time with the release of my first CD of original music called "No Regrets". I self promoted my music to radio across Canada and toured the album in Ontario for a year. I received an award from internet radio station Imagefm.ca for best new artist at their annual awards event. I recorded my second release of new music in 2013 with the guidance of awarded music producer Terry Brown. Terry and I created a 5 song EP which along with my first album are available on iTunes. I continued to network with artists in Ontario performing original music and cover songs until I moved to Vancouver in 2015. I have been establishing myself here on the west coast working on several projects. I established The Chronicles of False Creek in 2015 with journeymen musicians Terry Gage, Bryan Wilson and Leo Mattos.
Lead Guitar Player, back up Vocalist
Terry is a born and raised in British Columbia and has always been active in music playing lead guitar from a young age. During the Olympics in 2010 Terry played many stages large and small to celebrate with patrons of the games. He loves to play and has great versatility.
Lead Singer, Bass Guitar
Bryan Wilson (bass guitar) is originally from Vancouver Island. Bryan is a talented singer and multi-instrumentalist. Bryan has toured many years across Canada and in the USA. Bryan now makes North Vancouver home and is an excellent partner to have on stage.
Leo Mattos is from Sao Paulo, Brazil where he played in several bands and taught percussion. He now makes Vancouver home and sets a strong foundation for our music.
