TFGHAA TCCS Tai Chi Sword Leaded by TCCS Tai Chi instructor Dr. Alex Liu, our group has the chance to initiate the Yang style, Tai Chi, for a couple of months.
These gentle mind-body exercises, also called “meditation in movement”, conduct the positive effects on our muscle strength, flexibility, memory and attention. The movements are usually circular, continuous and never forced, the muscles are relaxed rather than tense. With a deep breath, concentration and coordination, decrease stress, and anxiety requests multitasking and improves mood and mental health.
Tai chi sword form is beautiful to look at, and just like other performances, the movements require dexterity, balance, and precision to be flawless while appearing effortless to the observer.
