"MAD Theatre "was established in 1997 by Shih Gee-Tze (Jesse) as Central Taiwan's first professional modern dance troupe. Since then, MAD Theater has debuted innovative and novel new works annually, performed worldwide. As of 2021, he has been invited to participate in Taiwan and international arts festivals over 1560 times.

Shih Gee-Tze (Jesse) is a choreographer. Graduating from the Taipei National University of the Arts (1999), 

As the first domestic choreographer with a double major in fine arts and dance, Shih Gee Tze is known as "a choreographer who paints with his body." He was also assigned by the Ministry of Culture as an artist-in-residence at Cite Internationals' Arts in Paris, France. 

Additionally, Jesse rewarded international reputation and opportunities for artists-in-residence, such as Cite International des Arts, Paris, France, and the West. Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Connecticut College, USA, Taiwan Capital University, choreography course of Guangdong Modern Dance Festival, Master class teacher of TARI200 Dance Festival in Malaysia, INTERFACE Dance Festival in India, won the 2016 Taichung City Performing Arts Gold Award, etc.
